New faces at Sharbot Lake Public School - photos by Meghan Balogh
Heidi Tyler (Grades
1-2) is in her fourth year teaching. Two of her four years were
spent teaching in Yellowknife, Yukon. Heidi is excited to be
rural again, as she grew up in a rural setting. She makes her
home in Kingston.
Danielle Nevins
(Grades 4-5) moved to Long Lake this summer. This is her first
year teaching elementary school in Ontario, having previously taught
ESL (English as a Second Language) in Toronto to adults. She
also had an opportunity to teach Kindergarten in Taiwan, an experience
that she loved. Danielle graduated from Brock University in St.
Catherine's
Andrea Jones (Grades
2-3) has been teaching for fifteen years, and has taught at
North Addington Education Centre, Clarendon/Plevna Public School, and
also at Sharbot Lake Public School six years ago. She is glad to
be back in the small-school environment, and enjoys its family
atmosphere. Andrea lives near Arden.
