Raging Grannies
On
October 15, the Ottawa Raging Grannies visited the uranium protest site
near sharbot Lake to lend their support to Donna Dillman on Day 8 of
her hunger strike. The Ottawa Raging Grannies wrote several
anti-uranium mining songs for this event and sang them for Donna at the
protest site. Algonquin protesters have begun to build a shelter on the
site, outside of the gate, in anticipation of an agreement to enter
inot mediation talks withe the Provincial and Federal Governments More Stories
