Hats off to the 2010 Heritage Festival organizers

The fourth annual Heritage Festival was another resounding success and attendees young and old enjoyed a number of new events this year, including turkey curling at Oso beach.

Mike Procter gave flintlock rifle shooting demos at the Crow Lake School House

The Crow Lake School house attracted folks from far and wide including students from three local schools and the moose meat goulash was a sell out on Saturday.

Displays and demonstrations inside and outside of the school house entertained and informed onlookers about the life of early settlers in these parts.

A steady stream of people viewed the various heritage displays and demonstrations at Oso Hall in Sharbot Lake and many enjoyed the outdoor activities that took place at various locations.

Congratulations to all of the organizers and volunteers who worked so hard to make this years festival another success.
