I just happened to pick up your June 29 newspaper at a friend’s cottage. I was shocked to read about the “Burn Bans” on the front page by Jeff Green with no mention of the cause of the bans.

We are facing an increasingly serious climate crisis! If your paper and writers refuse to acknowledge this, they are not serving their readers.

I know that South Frontenac votes Conservative, a party in climate denial. It’s sad to see that local papers are in denial, too. That is not good journalism.
