Thank you for your informative and honest perspective on the situation in the Middle East.
Your article, as well as Jemma's (Education Night about Palestine) give much needed context to the conversation.
If there is any hope of a solution to this conflict, perhaps it's time to take a few concepts out of the conversation.
Namely, Holy Land, sacred sites and chosen people.
There is no holy land.
There are no sacred sites and no one has been chosen.
Another idea we can get rid of is that one people or tribe has a longer or richer history than any other.
No living thing on this planet has a longer history than any other!
Then maybe, just maybe, we can carry on a real, honest conversation about real, living people.
