SF Bylaw Enforcement

I found out recently that South Frontenac farms out bylaw enforcement to a private contractor.

They are given the powers of the township for the ability to carry out their contract.

It seems to me that this arrangement discourages the diffusing of a neighborhood conflict and neighborly dealings with complaints as they are paid per visit and follow ups.

Just thought this information should be shared and also feel this has a negative impact on resolution of issues and is not a productive way to spend our taxes.
