I regret my earlier, naive suggestion that Canadians present Trump with a beautifully gift wrapped case of maple syrup to move him to drop his tariff and other schemes directed toward Canada.

How was anyone to know that minimum incentives/ bribes start with the “donation” of a shiny jumbo jet Trump can take with him when he leaves office? My apologies and regrets…
