On Friday April 6, 2018, Mike lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family, his wife Laurie and his children Jessica (Doug Chapman), Lindsay (Phil Asselstine) and Jake. He will be missed by his cherished grandchildren: Connor & Lilah Chapman and Freya & Abram Asselstine. Missing him also are his sisters Cathy Godin (Darrell) and Vicki Davis (Bill), as well as the extended Watson and Hackett families. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 15 at the Oso Hall in Sharbot Lake from 1-3. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
