Peacefully, surrounded by family in his 79th year, Gerald Price passed away on Friday, June 16 at Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital. Beloved husband to Norma Price (nee Barr), and father to Shelley Price and the late Rob Price (2020).

Gerald will be missed by daughter-in-law Brenda Price, brothers Jack (Frona), Darrell (late Doreen), Ivan (Lenore), sisters Irene Ervin and Adabelle Snider (late Ellwood). He will be lovingly remembered by sister-in law Lois Chestnut (late Dave), brother-in-law Robert Barr (Janice) and many special nieces and nephews.

Gerald is predeceased by brothers Ronald (Elva), Dale (Velma), Grant (Cleo), and sister Norene Young (Elgin). The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff in the ICU and Floor 2 at Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain Grove Cemetery on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00pm. For those who wish, donations can be made in Gerald’s memory to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
