Leonard Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital just a few weeks before his 83rd birthday. Devoted husband of the late Alma (Toots) Badour. Cherished father of David (Sherry) and Cindy. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jared, Logan and Nicole (Philip)  as well as his great-grandchildren Brody, Landon and Bowen. Beloved brother of Lorraine Love, Jim (Gail) Dale (Nancy), Noel, Gene (Brenda) sister in-law Bernice Whan and Judy Jackson. Lester will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Hosea and Beatrice Whan and siblings Harriet Mobe, Wilma Badour, Alvin, Barbara Myers and Ted. Soar with the angels, and walk with God. Cremation has been entrusted to Goodfellow’s Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held in Oconto Cemetery on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm. All are welcome. Play beautiful music for all the souls up there. We pray you have eternal peace and happiness on the other side.
