Brenda Ida May Young (Howe)

Passed peacefully Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 at the Perth Community Care Centre, in her 83rd year. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Bob, and her children, Bob (Rhonda), Paul (Cindy) and Pam (Brad), her dear sister Lois McCharles and her many nieces and nephews. She was the dear grandmother of Dessa and stepgrandmother of Carly and Jesse, Mackenzie and Ashton. Predeceased by her parents Ida (Kirkham) and Edwin Howe of Maberly, her brother John Howe and her sisters Muriel Allen, Jean Burnham and Edith Teal. The family will receive friends at Goodfellow’s Funeral Home in Parham on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel, interment at Oconto Cemetery. All are welcome to join us at a reception at the Sharbot Lake Legion from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. In remembrance of Brenda, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kingston Humane Society or the Lanark Animal Welfare Society would be appreciated.
