Suddenly at home, on Saturday May 4th, 2024, Brad passed away at the age of 57. He was the best friend and husband of Amy, and the proud father of Owen, Brendan, Jacob and Aaron. Brad was the loving Grampy of Leah, Raelynn, and Jaxson. He was the brother of Lisa Ann, Kevin and Stacey. He will be deeply missed by his dear friend Glenn Nisbet, and by Amy's siblings Sean (Robyn), and Jodi (Mike). Predeceased by his parents Alvin Gilpin and Eleanor Brownlee (nee Closs). Special thanks to Amy's aunt Donna Hall and the volunteer firefighters of North Frontenac Township for their help and compassion.

A celebration of Brad's life will be held at a later date. In honour of him, memorial contributions to C.H.E.O. or the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors Inc.
