Passed away peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Frederick Gordon Akey of Napanee at age 85. Beloved husband of Barbara Akey (Forsyth) and dear father of Vernon Akey (June) of Cloyne and Holly Clark (Bill) of Napanee. Grandfather of Ashley and Billy Clark. Brother of the late Sheila Burke, Ray Akey of Ompah and Donna Salmon (late Gerald) of Napanee. The family received friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Sunday, August 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at the Napanee Wesleyan Standard Church, 51 Palace Road, Napanee on Monday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Wilton Wesleyan Standard Church would be appreciated by the family.
