It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James Wilfred Baker, in his 89th year, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Son of the late Teresa and Wilfred Baker (Harlowe). Forever missed by his loving wife of 70 years, Hilda (Scott). Loving father of five children: Cindy, Sharon, Greg, Karen, and Mike. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Beloved brother of: Carol, Dan, John, and Darlene, and the late Bill, Joe and Sherry.

Former police officer of Durham Regional Police, retired after 35 years. Visitation at Milestone Funeral Centre, Northbrook, Thursday, November 7, 6pm-8pm, and Friday, November 8, 12 noon – 1pm, followed by funeral service at 1pm.
