It is with great sadness that the family of Albina announce her recent passing at Portal Village, Port Colborne, Ontario. She was the youngest (boldest, funniest, and most mischievous) daughter of Martin and Anastasia Muzyka.
Albina is survived by her two wonderful and loving children Don, and Lorraine (Tim), her grandchildren Kyle, Melissa, Marshall, and Cole, her large and loving contingent of nieces and nephews who will all deeply miss their precious "Baba."
Al is also survived by her older brother Henry (Pat) and predeceased by her husband Fred, sisters Katherine, and Pauline (Peanuts), and brothers Frank (Bubs), Jan, Albert, Stanley, Walter (Vina), Tony, Vincent, Joseph, and John. Beans (as she preferred to be called) was a fun and spirited "life of the party" who loved her family, country music, and wearing hats - no family gathering took place without the obligatory group picture with everyone donning one of her many hats.
Laughter, fun, music, and a good time welcomed anyone who came to her and Fred's door at their home on Skootamatta Lake. They knew most people on the lake and were both renowned for their generosity and sense of humour. We are sure everyone has their own favourite story (*INSERT FUNNY STORY HERE*) and our family looks forward to hearing them at Al's celebration of life at a soon to be determined time and place. Special thanks to the entire care team at Portal Village who brought both care and compassion to Mom's entire stay with them.
And a big THANK YOU to family member Kaysea who brought so much commitment, care, light, love, and laughter with her visits too! Memorial remembrances to Portal Village would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
