A Busy Day at the SF Museum

The South Frontenac Museum was open last Saturday afternoon, in concert with Open Farms. Over 21 people dropped by, some to see Doug Lovegrove's WW1 display, others curious about the railways, mines, and  farms. Still others combed the 1878 Atlas of the County, to find where their family had settled. The "Roaring Twenties" exhibit features clothing, new-fangled gadgets (cameras, wind-up record players, etc), and examples of fishing gear and lures. A rock-painting station was enjoyed by the children. The museum, although closed for the season, will continue to be available for visiting by appointment: further information on the museum website.
