Thrift Addicts Bargain Barn of Sydenham has won awards in five categories in the CommunityVotes Kingston business awards. The thrift store which has been operating since July 2024, won Platinum in Antique Dealers, Platinum in Rare and Used Books, Gold in Women’s clothing and accessories and silver in both discount stores and second-hand clothing.
Owners Ashleigh Ryder and Steve Kellar would like to give their thanks for the support from the community.
“As a new business, we really can’t thank everyone enough for the support and encouragement to keep our dream flourishing and allowing us to serve such a wonderful community,” they said.
Thrift Addicts Bargain Barn can be found on Facebook under the same names and is located on Rutledge Road in Sydenham.
